THE ONE THING

Pastor Gabe encouraged us this morning that a part of the foundation of our faith is obedience. Asking us the question: "What is the one thing that God wants us to do today?" We dove into how we are naturally inclined to disobedience but obedience is the better, albeit harder, way. Practically we can look at Jesus' teachings for examples of obedience (and to Jesus himself), but the more we get to know Jesus the more we will know what he would like us to do (because of relationship). But we can start today, doing what He has asked us to do (whether uncomfortable or difficult).
