GOOD NEWS AND SOME BAD NEWS

This week Pastor Kevin taught us that we are rich when compared to the rest of the world, but we must focus on being rich in God. By looking at the farmer in Luke 12, we see a story where we must ask ourselves about our relationship with our possessions: do we have our possessions or do our possessions have us? Pastor Kevin encouraged us that to grow in our richness in God we must acknowledge that all that we have was given to us by God in the first place. And as stewards of what God gave us we should focus on investing in the Kingdom of God and living to give (i.e. a generous life from our time and resources to money).
